To 12cm tall with 4-5 sheathing narrow leaves.
Medium sized 15-20mm long, quite nodding. Dorsal sepal with an upturned tip. Lateral sepals not much taller than the dorsal sepal, stout curled forwards. Labellum dark green with central blackish green callus, protruding through the V sinus of the lateral sepals.
November - January.
Sphagnum moss, wet open forest areas and scrub. Westland.
Naturally Uncommon but can be locally abundant.
