With leaves kidney shaped, wider than long, underside silvery tinged purple.
Flowers
Tiny, often partly hidden below the leaf litter. Dorsal sepal much longer than labellum tube top. Labellum with prominent midlobe: green throat and two ragged lobes at the bottom, often covered in short backward facing hairs. Lateral sepals purple, erect. Stems have purple flush or stripes.
Flowering
August - early December.
Habitat
Beech forest where substrate is moist. Sea-level to 1500m.
Conservation
Naturally uncommon.
Notes
Leaf is often wider than long, compared with others in the C. trilobus group.
