Plant

To 15cm tall in inconspicuous colonies. Stems slender, reddish with a single long narrow leaf.

Flowers

Up to 7.

Flowering

October - January.

Habitat

Warm places in flat open areas of fine sands with very low fertility.

Conservation

Threatened - Nationally Critical. The single known population has persisted for over 100 years.

Notes

Recorded in the past at a few northern sites but no longer known there.

Key features

Very distinct flower shape.
