They possess small, delicate, exquisite flowers which come in a vast
array of colours and forms.
Found from the coastline to the alpine herbfields, these shy creatures
are a much overlooked part of the New Zealand Native Flora.
This site gives descriptions & photos of most of the recognised species,
along with details on where to find them, the flowering times, online
editions of the Native Orchid Group's Journals ... and a whole lot more.
142 Species are illustrated and described in the Photo Section.
The NZ Native Orchid Group consists of members throughout New Zealand
and the world who are united in the conservation of our Native Orchids.
